We had a fantastic time at Miners Log Cabin! The cabin was cosy and secluded, providing the perfect atmosphere for a weekend away. The outdoor areas were lovely to explore, especially the fire pit and BBQ. The location was also great, with plenty of grounds to enjoy. We can't wait to go back in the summer!
If we're being picky, the bed could have been bigger and more comfortable. Additionally, there was no shower available and the pull-out bed wasn't the most comfortable.

What an absolutely magical place to stay. The attention to detail is second to none. The cabin is beautiful, with so many little quirky finds dotted around. I loved starting my day with a peaceful morning coffee on the porch, even in the rain. The host, Drew, was incredibly helpful and always available if needed. I will definitely be returning as two nights simply weren't enough!

We loved our one night stay at Miners Log Cabin! It was the perfect peaceful getaway for us as parents of small children. The facilities were as described, and we appreciated the abundance of bottled water provided. The Bluetooth speaker was a lovely touch, and the well-sized TV, comfy sofa, and incredibly comfortable bed made for a cozy evening. The beautiful and quirky setting, with carefully curated decorative details and furnishings, added to the fantastic experience. Drew, the host, was incredibly accommodating and easily reachable. We highly recommend a stay here and can't wait to return!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The cabin had lots of quirky features and beautiful views. The outdoor seating areas, including a fire pit, were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful location. The facilities, including a separate shower and toilet, were clean and well-maintained. The cabin provided a private and secluded getaway. It was also conveniently located near a co-op and takeaways, making it easy to grab essentials or a quick meal.
While the cabin was well-equipped with a Bluetooth speaker and TV, I personally would have preferred a more disconnected experience. However, this is a matter of personal preference and did not detract from an otherwise perfect trip.

The cabin is beautifully crafted and full of personal touches. The cleanliness was impeccable, even the WC was spotless. The secluded feel and stunning mountain view made for a peaceful and breathtaking stay. The firepit was a delightful extra, with plenty of wood supplied. The owner was a fantastic host, always quick to respond and very thoughtful. The nearby town had everything we needed and it was a short walk away. We will definitely be back.
It would have been nice to have a small oven or microwave available for longer stays. The separate toilet was a bit chilly in winter, but it wouldn't be a problem in summer.

Absolute peace and quiet! Loved the attention to detail in the cabin, it's warm and cosy. The bed is comfortable and the window blinds were great for privacy and blocking out light. Kitchen facilities were good and we had everything we needed. The location and cabin grounds were private and relaxing. Drew was very friendly and thought of everything. Sitting on the veranda in the morning, reading books while the squirrels played was a lovely experience. Firepit was a nice touch too. Plenty of bottled water provided.
No running water or bathroom, but we were informed beforehand. Maybe a recycling bin would be a good addition.

We had a fantastic stay at the Miners Log Cabin. The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. We loved the quirky decor, especially the miners oil lamps. The outdoor space was spacious and peaceful, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea on the porch or gathering around the fire pit in the evening. The location was also ideal, with easy access to the Valleys and the Brecons. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the love that was put into creating this unique cabin. Despite a minor issue with the shower cubicle and BBQ, the host was quick to resolve the problems and provide helpful assistance. we highly recommend this lovely retreat and look forward to returning in the future.
